The room I did the least with (I did buy the small cabinet next to the sink), but it's kind of necessary...

Hi JT I have to comment on the bathroom photos. While the place is in fact spic and span, as attested to by the shine on the tile and the cleaning bottle so elegantly situated on the windowsill, the fact that the seat is left TOTALLY UP requires that your girlfriend(s) pee standing up as well or that you are indeed living solo.
Since you mentioned having purchased a cabinet for the bahroom... What is the reasoning behind apartments having no cabinetry or common kitchen equipment such as a fridge or oven already in place? Is that common place for all of Europe? How about when you lived in Taiwan?
Of 20 or so apartments I looked at, only 1 had any closets. Germans buy freestanding wardrobes (none lead to Narnia, though) for all their closet needs. All those big wardrobes you see at IKEA are a LOT more popular here. Taiwan was similar, though there usually was some storage space.

Very nice apartment overall!
i have a roommate, but since he's a HE, the seat being up is perfectly fine. Relationship JT is quite thoughtful about this...
